NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), located on Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL, provides engineering expertise to support the U.S. space exploration program. MSFC develops spaceflight hardware for both human spaceflight and robotic missions and designs instruments such as the Chandra X-ray Observatory critical to scientific discovery and understanding of both the universe and of our own planet. Components of the International Space Station were developed at Marshall, and the Center provides ongoing support ISS operations. MSFC will play a pivotal role in the development of the next generation Space Launch System that will carry both astronauts and payloads into orbit.
Jacobs has partnered with NASA to support space flight programs for more than 40 years and held the predecessor Engineering, Science, and Technical Services (ESTS) contract since 1989. We look forward to continuing that work as the contractor for the Engineering and Science Services and Skills Augmentation (ESSSA).
