·        One of the services of the Protective Services Office is to provide an officer escort to an employee’s vehicle, upon request (256) 544-4753 (

·        Duress alarms are also available upon request – obtained through submitting a SRS order; at the cost to the organization requesting the duress alarm

·        Change/Move of office location

·        Change office telephone number

·        Provide a photograph of offender to selected co-workers/management

·        Devise a code word with co-workers; use code word if you want them to alert Protective Services Office/Law enforcement

·        If you dial 911 from a landline (desk phone) at MSFC, the call will go directly to our dispatch center at Building 4312

·        If you dial 911 from a cell phone, be very specific in giving them your location 

·        In the Fall of 2014, the Protective Services Office will hopefully hold another Surviving an Armed Violent Encounter (SAVE), formally known as the High Risk Conflict Resolution (HRCR) course

·        If a Protection from Abuse (PFA) order, the victim needs to keep a copy of the PFA on his/her person at all times and also provide a copy of the PFA to PSO

·        Keep PSO and local law enforcement updated on the situation
